Matatu Owners bigwig, Jimal Rohosafi hasn’t gotten to where he is in life by being a shrinking violet.
The father of two normally speaks his mind, doesn’t matter how sensitive a topic might be. This morning, the wealthy businessman shared an anecdote about love on his Instastories. He wrote,
“When someone nowadays says I love you know that 95% they want to use you…It’s hard to find someone genuine. #correct.”

It isn’t hard to see why Jimal might feel so jaded. Jimal not only lost one but two wives in 2021, something I am sure must have come as a shock to him.
In an interview last year, he also admitted that he would spend as much as 50k while on dates with women.
What was also noteworthy was that his post above was quickly followed by a celebration of the late Mzee Jackson Kibor’s life, a man who became popular for being the ‘Men’s Conference’ chairperson.
He wrote, “Rest in peace men’s conference chairman Mzee Jackson Kibor.”

Maybe, Jimal is starting to see the value in the way Mzee Kibor lived his life as far as his dating life went.
He was famously admired for being a miser with his women despite being an asset billionaire.
Jimal’s experiences so far have shown him that money is the only reason why a majority of women date him, something he is finding out is a poisoned chalice.
“How you get them, is how you keep them.”
