Mungai Eve and her boyfriend Trevor, excited fans with a recent holiday photoshoot they posted on their social media.
The two were promoting tour company Bonfire Adventures which had sponsored their cozy trip. Mungai herself praised the company in her caption writing,
“Soft life🥰❤️❣️doing life with you is the best @director_trevor, book a holiday for your loved ones with @bonfireadventures.”
But while many fans were titillated by the photo of the young couple enjoying life with a big spoon, other trolled the couple.
In Trevor’s case, some Kenyans wondered why he was wearing a vest in a swimming pool, using the hilarious trending hashtag, ‘Kwani ni mwanamke?’ to raise those questions.
While the trolling in Trevor’s case could be taken as harmless fun, in Mungai’s case, it looked like downright bullying.
Some Kenyans felt that the YouTube creator’s bust was non-existent and said as much on the comments section.
Some of those comments are below;
nosky56 Bra inashikilia tu Imani
am_hotboii @mungai_eve sasa hio bra imeshikilia nini? Nkt 😢
its_charlotte.oh 😢😢watoi watanyonya nni
kelvinmtesh Fallen soldiers
brayobulls @kelvinmtesh no bro in this situation the soldiers haven’t been born yet😂😂
ikanzokadzo @brayobulls not yet in the battle field😂😂
Things got so bad that Mungai decided to take on one troll who had called her out by saying, “🔥🔥lakini sijaona kifua🤦.”
Mungai responded instantly told the Instagram user called Nairobian_spoiler254 that she hadn’t posted the photo for his pleasure, “Hakuna mtu amekwekea uone bro.”
At the end of the day, Eve was very mature with her response, especially after the attacks she had received.
It is truly sad that people can attack someone for a body trait that they were born with. It’s not like any of us could negotiate with God when were in the womb.
But what do I know?
