Since hanging his boots on politics, former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has been doing what he loves best – partying and having a good time.
On Wednesday, the flashy entrepreneur turned a year older.
What followed was a club appearance at 1824 on Friday, where he enjoyed good music with his friends and fans.
Affluence could be seen as Sonko danced to the Happy Birthday song by Tanzanian star Harmonize.
Amid the dance, one could be seen pouring expensive Hennessy cognac on the birthday boy’s cap.
This did not augur well with Sonko’s guards, who warned against showering him with drinks.
But the birthday boy himself was in a party mood, unbothered by the cognac that was flowing on his cap.
Afterward, Sonko took to social media to post;
“It is well. Alluta continua as I continue to move on with the life after politics life for God has better plans for me, to give me hope and a future.”
On Wednesday, Sonko said he deserves to be happy despite his tribulations and paid tribute to his late parents.
