Mbona’ hitmaker Denno has opened up on how life has been after he left EMB records.
The visually impaired artiste left the label in 2020 and since then he has been trying to grow his name as a solo artiste.
Speaking during an interview with Chris Baraka, Denno shared,
“If I am to be signed to a label then the terms must also favour me. There were no strict terms, Bahati was very lenient with me. But the songs we did were being posted on other people’s YouTube channels hence they were not promoting me.”
Adding,
“Bahati has done his best, it is now up to me to push myself and earn my own fans. I am trying to make people know that I can also do stuff without collaborating with other artistes.”
Denno’s wife, Faith Naliaka, says her husband has very good music lined up for his fans adding that the only challenge is getting capital to produce the songs.
Denno has in the past done a collabo with Bahati, the song ‘Story Yangu.’ explains the challenges he has faced after being born blind.
