Singer Savara Mudigi has a song about his love life with his girlfriend, Yvonne Endo.
During the listening party of his album Savage Levels, Savara told Mpasho that it was difficult for him to write the song at first.
He says the two had a misunderstanding when he was making his first attempt at the song, and so he couldn’t express his emotions appropriately.
“It was hard because when I tried writing it we had issues. We were fighting a lot and it was so crazy. But when we made up, I knew I loved her more, the song wrote itself straight. That time when you try to express the things she does for you it doesn’t come out with realness,” he explained.
Savara also spoke about his song ‘anxiety’ which was also drawn from his real-life experience.
“It was a personal one. Many people around me started dying…there are moments in my life when am so anxious. Even when writing this album I was so anxious, I would go deep. When recording a personal album you have to dig deep,” he said.
