RnB singer Tyrese Gibson’s mother, Priscilla Murray Gibson, has died after a battle with COVID-19 and pneumonia.
Tyrese announced the sad news Monday on his Instagram.
He shared a sad video of him holding on to and rubbing his mother’s hand as he tearfully said his goodbyes.
‘Rest in peace mom, you fought, mom. You fought. Oh my god, I’m so sorry this happened, mom. Jesus.’
He went on to speak to his mother, promising to hold her hand throughout the rest of his life, as she did for him, when he was a child.
‘I’m gonna hold your hand for the rest of my life, OK? Everywhere I go, I’m gonna hold your hand the way you held my hand when I was a kid, every journey this life takes me to from here on, you’re gonna hold my hand mom, OK?’
