Last week, the internet was surprised at the news that one of the famous P-Square brothers, Paul Okoye was being divorced by his wife of 7 years, Anita.
More news is emerging with court documents claiming that she is reportedly demanding for KSh 2 Million Monthly Spousal Support.
The mother of 3 is allegedly asking for KSh 2 million monthly as spousal support.
“Payment of a monthly maintenance sum of KSh 2 million (N7.8m) for the general welfare, education and health of the three children of the union who are presently in schools in the United States of America until they are of age,” according to court documents seen by Instablog.
The alleged amount has shocked many Nigerians who see it as karma for Paul’s stance in Peter’s marriage while others see the amount Anita is asking for as punitive.
As previously reported, Mpasho.co.ke, Anita claimed that the reason she was divorcing Paul was due to irreconcilable differences.
She added that they no longer communicate as a couple stating that the marriage has broken down irretrievably because of lack of love and compatibility.
According to Anita’s lawyers, they no longer enjoy a mutual conjugal relationship as a wife and husband.
The crack in their marriage became noticeable in March 2021 after Anita left for the United States of America with their 3 kids; Andre, Nadia, and Nathan.
