LinkedIn boss Thogori Chege Karago breathed her last on January 21, 2022 at a hotel room in a posh hotel in Westlands.
Her room was found locked from inside. She was alone.
Kilimani Police boss Muturi Mbogo, said that investigations show that the lady was diabetic, a condition that might have led to her death. He stated that the deceasedās body did not have any physical injuries.
āThere are indications that she was diabetic, but that is subject to further investigations. For now, we take it to be a natural and sudden death,ā he said.
The body was moved to MP Shah hospital morgue.

Karago was the co-founder and CTO of Pink Coconuts, a platform for the LGBTQIA+ travel community together with her lover Zi Donnya Pigott, a Barbados national.
Donnya is devastated by her loss and has penned several messages on her Facebook page celebrating Karago.
“A day hasnāt gone by where I havenāt thought about you. You are my forever love.,” Donya wrote, “Iām not sure if this world even deserved you in the first place.”
She added, “Ascend Babygirl, ascend.”

In another post, Donya wrote, “Kababy, Rest In Peace, my love. Never stopped loving you and I donāt think I ever will.”
She continued, “People like you donāt die, they ascend. I love you, T.”
Karago was tasked with overseeing LinkedIn growth in the continent creating opportunities for every member of the African workforce.
