Decin and Mosiria

Jaymoh Decin has visited former Nairobi County Chief Officer Geoffrey Mosiria in hospital, sharing a message of encouragement as he receives medical attention.

In a video shared on Saturday, October 31, 2026, Jaymoh is seen standing beside Mosiria’s hospital bed as they hold hands. Mosiria is covered with a blue blanket, while Jaymoh, dressed in a black, yellow and white jacket and a cap, looks down at him.

“Quick Recovery Chief. May the Grace of God lead you and protect you in all your Endeavors,” Jaymoh wrote, tagging Mosiria.

The visit adds Jaymoh to the people who have expressed support for the former county official following his hospitalisation.

Mosiria’s admission

Mosiria was taken to hospital on Thursday evening, October 29, after suddenly falling ill during a meeting in Nairobi. Duke Mainga Echate said he accompanied him alongside politician Morara Kebaso and an associate, Mirina.

Social media personality Obidan Dela later said Mosiria had been admitted to the High Dependency Unit (HDU), where doctors were working to stabilise him. Mosiria subsequently confirmed that an infection had led to his admission at Nairobi Hospital.

In an update from his hospital bed, he thanked colleagues and Kenyans for their prayers, adding that he would be discharged once he was well.

An appeal for prayers

Jaymoh’s post comes as Mosiria continues receiving messages from friends, colleagues and members of the public. The former county official had also asked supporters to remember him in their prayers, acknowledging that even people who are often strong and available to help others sometimes need time to rest and recover.

“Today, I humbly ask you, my fans and everyone who has been walking this journey with me, to remember me in your prayers,” Mosiria said.

He added that the period had not been easy but expressed faith that he would overcome it through God’s grace.

Jaymoh’s message, shared alongside a video capturing their hospital interaction, offered another public show of solidarity as Mosiria focuses on recovery. The comedian did not share further details about his condition, while Mosiria said he would leave hospital once he was well.
