Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna has drawn attention to the condition of roads in Kwale County after his Linda Mwananchi convoy encountered difficult sections while travelling from Kinango towards Kwale Town.In a post shared on Saturday, October 31, the senator described the journey as a challenging experience, pointing to potholes and water along the route.
Sifuna used a Swahili caption to explain the situation, saying motorists had to navigate obstacles and flooded sections but expressing confidence that the convoy would eventually reach its destination.
“The road from Kinango towards Kwale Town is full of potholes and waterlogged sections, but we will get there, God willing,” he wrote.
The post offered a glimpse of the road conditions encountered by the team as it continued its political engagements in the coastal county.
The Kwale visit forms part of Linda Mwananchi’s grassroots mobilisation campaign, which is aimed at expanding the movement’s presence beyond Nairobi and establishing political networks across the country ahead of the 2027 General Election.
Throughout the campaign, the movement has been actively connecting with local political leaders, as well as officials from wards and sub-counties, alongside individuals who are interested in running for various elected positions.
This recent visit follows the official opening of Linda Mwananchi’s new headquarters in Nairobi.Sifuna shared plans for the movement to set up offices in all 47 counties by the end of November as part of its expansion strategy.
Additionally, the senator announced that the group is set to conduct its National Delegates Convention on November 13. This gathering will aim to solidify its leadership framework and enhance internal structures.
