Veteran Kenyan broadcaster Fred Obachi Machoka has given Kenyans a glimpse of his beautiful property in Isinya, Kajiado County, after heavy rainfall transformed the compound into a lush green environment.
Machoka appeared delighted by the greenery at his expansive property, offering a glimpse of the refreshing surroundings following the downpour. The sight has also drawn attention to the broadcaster’s investment away from the media industry.
Machoka owns Fred’s Ranch and Resort, an expansive property located in Kisaju along the Kitengela Namanga road in Isinya, Kajiado County.
The establishment is known for its beautiful lawns, fruit orchard, livestock and cowboy themed resort. It also features horse stables and recreational facilities that attract visitors looking for a countryside experience.
A report published by TUKO.co.ke on October 12, 2026, described the property as a 15 acre agri tourism destination approximately 80 kilometres from Nairobi.
The ranch offers several recreational activities, including horse riding, quad biking, swimming, picnics, farm tours and camping.
The development of the property took years of planning and investment, with Machoka’s son, Victor Machoka, playing a significant role in bringing the family project to life.
Victor reportedly left a six figure salary in 2015 to pursue the ranch business. Following its initial activities, his father injected KSh 4 million into the project, helping to officially launch the resort in 2016.
Over the years, the property has developed into both a family retreat and a commercial hospitality destination.
Machoka, who is popularly known for hosting the Roga Roga programme on Citizen Radio and Citizen TV, has continued to attract attention for his activities beyond broadcasting.
His latest display of the lush compound after rainfall offers another glimpse into the property that has become one of his notable investments.
