Nyali Member of Parliament Mohammed Ali, popularly known as Moha Jicho Pevu, has warmed hearts after celebrating 15 years of marriage with his wife, Rukiya Noordin, with a rare romantic photo and a touching message.
The legislator took to Facebook on Thursday, October 30, 2026, to mark the milestone, giving followers a glimpse into a relationship he has largely kept away from the public eye.
In the photo, Moha and Rukiya are seen walking hand in hand in a garden. The couple, captured from behind beneath a heart-shaped floral arch, appeared to be enjoying a quiet moment together.
Rukiya wore a black buibui and niqab, while Moha was dressed in a maroon polo shirt and white trousers.
Accompanying the photo was a heartfelt message in which the lawmaker reaffirmed his love for his wife and expressed his desire to spend many more years by her side.
“Happy 15th Anniversary, My Queen. 15 years of love, forever to go. I’d choose you every time,” he wrote.
Moha Jicho Pevu’s wife has kept a low profile
Unlike many spouses of prominent politicians, Rukiya has largely stayed out of the limelight, with Moha rarely sharing details or photographs of their family life.
The politician has maintained a clear boundary between his public career and his private relationships, making his anniversary post a special glimpse into a side of him that supporters do not often get to see.
Over the years, occasional social media posts have offered brief glimpses of his affection for Rukiya. In October 2022, when the couple marked their 11th wedding anniversary, Moha also shared a photo of his wife.
At the time, he referred to her affectionately as his “American Ninja” and wrote, “Our 11th Anniversary. Eleven years with my American Ninja. Mungu ni Mkuu.”
He has also celebrated her birthday in the past, once referring to her as “my Tausi” in a social media message.
These occasional tributes suggest that while the couple keep much of their relationship private, Moha is not shy about publicly appreciating his wife on special occasions.
