Mihuu Ward Member of the County Assembly (MCA) Violet Makhanu is grieving after the death of her daughter, Grace Nelima Wangila.
The legislator announced the loss on Facebook on Friday, October 9, 2026, in a post that was raw and deeply personal.
“Grace, why now? My daughter, my blood, why have you left me so soon?” she wrote.
Her words captured the shock of a mother struggling to accept the sudden loss of a child.
