Comedian Eric Omondi has explained why only Georgina Njenga’s mother and daughter are currently allowed to visit her at Chiromo Hospital Group in Lavington.
Omondi said the arrangement was in place for now and asked the public to give Njenga privacy as she undergoes treatment.
The clarification followed comments by Njenga’s former boyfriend, content creator King Bizzy, who claimed he had been denied access to her and questioned who was allowed to visit her.
Omondi became involved on October 1 after asking Kenyans to help locate Njenga following posts she had shared on Instagram.
She was later found and, according to Omondi, taken to Chiromo together with her mother, Alice Wairiru, on October 2.
Omondi subsequently shared videos from the hospital and urged the public to give Njenga time away from public attention.
Njenga’s friends have also addressed the issue. In a TikTok video, two of them indicated that access to her was being limited and said she was safe.
Entertainment commentator Sabato criticised the pressure surrounding Njenga’s situation, saying she should be given space to focus on her treatment rather than being drawn into online disputes.
Omondi has continued to appeal for privacy and patience, asking Kenyans to allow Njenga and her family to deal with the situation away from unnecessary public attention.
The dispute over visitation has since shifted attention to the importance of respecting Njenga’s privacy while she receives care.
Details about her treatment remain private, and claims about her condition should not be treated as confirmed unless released by her family or medical team.
