Kenyan billionaire Tahir Sheikh Said, popularly known as TSS, built a business empire that spanned several sectors. His business interests included buses, Unga Millers and the TSS Tower in Mombasa. However, the business empire later faced a major debt crisis. Various banks called in loans owed by the businesses associated with TSS. The loans called in by the banks amounted to more than KSh8 billion. The debt crisis therefore became a major challenge for the business empire built by Tahir Sheikh Said.
