Kabu and Jahenda

Nairobi businessman Simon Kabu has joined Kenyans rallying behind Jahenda after a video allegedly showing her being assaulted sparked widespread outrage online.

Kabu said the incident touched him deeply as a father, prompting him to publicly express his support for the young woman amid growing attention.

The businessman assured Jahenda that she was not alone, saying many people had been moved by what allegedly happened and were standing with her.

“As a father, this really touched my heart. I stand with Jahenda,” Kabu said, expressing solidarity with her during the difficult period.

Kabu further encouraged Jahenda to remain strong, assuring her that she was seen and valued despite the distressing circumstances surrounding the incident.

“I may not know you personally, but I want you to know that you are seen, you are valued, and you are not alone,” he said.

Beyond offering words of encouragement, Kabu also extended a practical gesture aimed at giving Jahenda an opportunity to step away from the public spotlight.

He asked his daughter, Maurine of Adequate Safaris, to offer Jahenda a three-day holiday at the Coast, where she could take time to relax and regain her composure.

“Please give her at least a holiday akajitulize for three days pale Coast,” Kabu proposed, addressing his daughter in an effort to facilitate the getaway.

The businessman appeared keen to give Jahenda some space from the intense attention that followed the circulation of the alleged assault video.

The incident has generated strong reactions online, with Kenyans expressing concern over the circumstances surrounding the young woman and calling for appropriate action.

Kabu also appealed to anyone who could safely connect him or his family with Jahenda to pass on the message and help establish contact.

He encouraged her to reach out to his family directly so that arrangements for the proposed Coast holiday could be made.

The gesture adds Kabu to a growing number of Kenyans offering support to Jahenda as conversations around the alleged bullying incident continue.

For Kabu, however, the response went beyond social media solidarity, with his offer seeking to provide Jahenda with an opportunity to take a break and recover away from the intense public scrutiny.

The businessman maintained that Jahenda should know that she has people standing beside her during what has become a difficult and highly publicised moment.
