According to a report published by TUKO on September 29, 2026, Nyota said her husband was concerned about her wellbeing and felt that she needed to take a break after becoming heavily involved in her new business venture.
The singer, however, explained that she was not ready to leave Kenya because her newly opened hotel still required her attention.
Nyota said she had been working hard since launching the business and had not yet had enough time to properly rest.
Rather than immediately travelling to Denmark, she proposed that her husband come to Kenya in December. She suggested that they could then travel to Denmark together in January.
The singer also revealed that this was the second time she had declined to travel to her husband’s home country, showing how focused she currently is on establishing her business.
Her decision sparked mixed reactions among social media users. Some encouraged her to take a break and spend time with her husband, while others understood her desire to concentrate on her new investment.
