Popular TikToker Lyndah Kebati, popularly known as “Thee Love Child,” has left many people stunned after she publicly lectured her relatives during her father’s burial in Kisii.
The content creator said her family members allegedly abandoned her and her siblings while their father was sick.
She claimed that some relatives failed to support or show up during the trying period, only to later appear at the funeral.
According to Kebati, the behaviour disappointed her deeply and raised questions about their intentions.
In a video shared online, Kebati is seen addressing mourners and speaking directly to the relatives she accused.
Her remarks came as relatives and other attendees watched during the burial service.
She told them, in a strongly worded message, that she could not pretend to love them. She said she would not forgive them and that she did not plan to rebuild any relationship with them after the death of her father.
Kebati also stated that since her father had “rested,” she felt her family ties with those relatives were permanently broken.
She said they would no longer be part of her life as a family, arguing that their absence during the illness and their sudden presence at the funeral showed a lack of care and commitment.
Her emotional speech has since drawn widespread reactions online.
Many users praised her for being honest and speaking openly about what she described as betrayal within the family.
Some commended her bravery, noting that it takes courage to address painful issues in public especially during a moment that is usually expected to be calm and respectful.
Other commenters, however, expressed mixed feelings, saying that the situation could have been handled privately.
They urged that while the feelings Kebati shared were understandable, public confrontation during a burial could hurt others and intensify conflict within families.
