It’s not a secret that witchcraft in Tanzania.
So rampant is it, that of these witchdoctors do their trade-in broad daylight where everyone can see it.
This, however, does not mean that everyone who comes from this area practices witchcraft.
Dodoma-The witches from these areas are so brave that they can do their business outside while the neighbours watch and go back to the house.
Kigoma
Taboru- These witch doctors act ‘nice’, If you wrong them they tell you everything is OK only for them to deal with you later.
Shinyanga and Mwanza-These are the types of witchdoctors who fly.
Suba Wanga- The name means ‘Tupa Uchawi.’
The name was created by a past King, it is said that if you cross a river going to that area and you don’t throw away your charm, you die.
Tanga – These types of witches are the ones who practice ‘nirudishe mahali umenitoa’ type of magic.
Here in Kenya witchcraft is very rampant in
Kitui.
Makueni.
Machakos.
Kisii.
Mombasa and other coastal regions.
