Suna East Member of Parliament Junet Mohamed this afternoon has admitted that the political star of the former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua is on a steady rise, in that the choice of the 2027 presidential flag bearer solely rests on him.
Speaking on Saturday where he also took the opportunity to clarify why the Orange Democratic Movement Party cannot think of joining the opposition, Junet said that UDA Party unlike the opposition is more organized and promising.
Also, Junet mocked the opposition saying that the principals there, less than 12 months to the 2027 general election appear undecided on who should be their candidate unless Gachagua himself endorses someone.
“Sisi hatuwezi ungana na wale bado wanafanya mikutano kwa hoteli. Sisi tunaungana na wale ambao wanapatana na wananchi.
“Watu ambao wanangoja eti Gachagua aote ndio awaambie ni nani atakua presidential candidate. Ni nani ambaye anajua Gachagua ataota ndoto gani?
“Sisi tayari tuko na presidential candidate ambaye ni William Ruto, na kwa mapenzi ya mwenyezi Mungu, Deputy atakua from ODM Party,” Junet Mohamed said.
