Hiram Gitau, widely known as Tash, has shared an emotional birthday tribute to Sky Victor, the daughter of his late wife, gospel singer Betty Bayo.
In a heartfelt social media post, Tash celebrated Sky on her special day, describing her as a blessing and thanking God for allowing him to witness her growth over the years. His message was filled with affection, encouragement and prayers for the young girl as she continues to navigate life.
“Dear daughter Sky, you are a blessing I thank God for every single day,” Tash wrote. He further reflected on the happiness he has experienced while watching her grow, describing the journey as one of the greatest joys of his life.
Tash praised Sky for her character, referring to her as beautiful, intelligent and loving. He then dedicated several prayers to her future, asking God to guide her decisions and grant her wisdom, favour and success in everything she undertakes.
He also prayed that Sky would always have access to good things and that opportunities for greatness would come her way. Tash expressed hope that her life would be filled with positive experiences, achievements and countless reasons to be grateful.
The widower further asked God to protect Sky from difficulties and ensure that she does not stumble or lose direction as she grows older. He prayed for divine guidance and asked that God’s light remain upon her while His grace continues to speak on her behalf.
“Happy Birthday to you my princess,” Tash added as he concluded his touching birthday message.
The tribute comes several months after the death of Betty Bayo, who passed away in November 2025 following an illness. The singer left behind Sky and her younger brother, Danny. Since her death, Tash has continued to maintain a close bond with the children.
Sky has previously spoken in support of Tash. In June 2026, she defended him against allegations concerning her welfare and finances, maintaining that she understood how matters relating to her money were being handled.
The relationship between Tash and Betty’s children has received public attention amid an ongoing family and custody dispute involving their biological father, Pastor Victor Kanyari. Despite disagreements surrounding the family, Sky has previously appealed to people to respect both men she regards as her fathers.
Tash’s latest message, however, remained focused on celebrating Sky’s birthday and wishing her a successful, protected and fulfilling future.
