Celebrated Kenyan actress Catherine Kamau alias Kate Actress has recently been spotted crying foul on social media.
This is because of how she was served some unfancy food for lunch while she was on a movie set, something which she clearly did not expect.
Kate Actress opened up about this in a recent post that she made on her Instagram stories, where she shared a collage of photos of the foods that she and her colleagues were served while they were on set.
What was clear is that one of the members was served rice and cabbage, the other was served ugali and cabbage and the other was served ugali and some green vegetables.
Kate Actress, who is a multi award-winning actress, then accompanied the photos with a caption of her calling out some Kenyan producers for not taking care of their cast properly.
The mother of two wondered why some of them cannot just allocate enough budget to cater for the needs of their cast and crew.
“SERIOUSLY??? Kenyan producers, if you don’t have the budgets wachana na cinema 😭…What is this??? Si lazima!!!” She said in part.
Kate Actress added:
“We want to get mad at Kenyan Loser for criticizing our industry; but we need to talk about working conditions on sets too. How do you feed this to your cast and crew?
Producers wa cinema jamani, I know production is hella expensive but what is this??? 😂
