Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi has called for the resignation of Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen and Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) Director Mohamed Amin, accusing the two of failing to act against former deputy president Rigathi Gachagua and his allies. According to a report, Sudi said security agencies had not done enough to respond to remarks he claimed were inflammatory and capable of stirring ethnic tension ahead of the 2027 General Election.
Speaking in a video shared on his social media platforms, Sudi argued that Gachagua and members of the Democracy for Citizens Party had repeatedly made statements he considered dangerous. He claimed those remarks were not being taken seriously enough by the security agencies, and insisted that the situation could become politically volatile if left unchecked. Sudi was especially blunt in his criticism of the security leadership.
