Maina Kageni has expressed his disappointment at how most Kenyan men love hiding their wives. The radio king says it’s an annoying habit that women should stop normalizing.
Giving an example of his co-host Mwalimu King’ang’i, Maina said that he knows the wife because he accidentally bumped into her.
“It’s only in Kenya where men never introduce their wives to their friends. They never take their wives to social events, office parties, cocktails.
The only place Kenyan women are taken to is to a relatives wedding or funeral. They do it (take women to events) so well in Nigeria, Uganda, Rwanda.

To which Mwalimu responded,
“Those are the most important places. If you want things to go smoothly don’t mix these two things. You know a wife is an institution you cannot keep mixing institutions. When you get married most things change.”
