Naiyanoi Ntutu, the widow of the late Emurua Dikirr Member of Parliament Johana Ngeno, has become the centre of widespread online discussion after sharing videos that showed her in the company of an unidentified man, just five months after her husband’s tragic death.
The Instagram Stories, posted on Friday, 24 July, quickly attracted attention, with many social media users questioning whether the young widow had found a new partner.Naiyanoi did not reveal the man’s identity or explain the nature of their relationship, leaving followers to speculate.
One of the clips appeared to show Naiyanoi enjoying a holiday outside the country. She was seen taking a selfie while seated on a high chair, wearing a pink-themed outfit paired with blue denim trousers.
The video featured the song Tusa by Karol G and Nicki Minaj in the background.
Another video drew even greater interest after Naiyanoi was seen inside what appeared to be a theatre alongside the same unidentified man.
The clip was accompanied by the Swahili love song Kupendwa Na Wewe by Watendawili, a music choice that many viewers interpreted as carrying a romantic message.In a separate post, the mystery man placed his arm around Naiyanoi’s shoulder as she smiled at the camera.
He concealed his face beneath a Barcelona FC cap and wore a chain around his neck, making it impossible for viewers to identify him.
The posts triggered mixed reactions online. While some people felt Naiyanoi had every right to move on with her life because of her young age, others questioned whether it was too soon after the death of her husband.
Naiyanoi has been raising her family while adjusting to life without Ngeno, who died in February 2026 at the age of 53.
The former legislator was among six people killed when a helicopter crashed in Chepkiep, Mosop, Nandi County.
Reports indicated that the aircraft struck trees during poor weather before bursting into flames, leaving no survivors.
Despite the growing speculation, Naiyanoi has not commented publicly on the identity of the man or the claims circulating on social media.
