Podcaster and content creator Marya Prude has shared new details about the painful end of her marriage to media personality Willis Raburu, revealing the emotional struggles she faced after learning about his alleged relationship with Ivy Namu while their divorce was still ongoing.

Her revelations came during a recent podcast, where she reflected on the difficult period that followed the breakdown of her marriage.

Marya said the marriage had already experienced serious challenges,especially after the couple suffered the heartbreaking loss of their daughter.

Although they had separated,she believed there was still hope that they would find a solution before officially ending their marriage.

She explained that she later discovered what she believed was evidence that Raburu had begun a relationship with Ivy while the divorce process had not yet been completed.

According to Marya,the situation became even more painful after she learnt that the couple was expecting their first child before her divorce had been finalised.She said this was one of the hardest moments she had ever experienced.

Marya also revealed that she reached out to her pastor after making the discovery,hoping for guidance and emotional support during one of the darkest periods of her life.

 

She said she struggled to understand everything that was happening and relied heavily on her faith and close family members to help her move forward.

The podcaster recalled that the legal process itself was also difficult.She previously disclosed that she received divorce papers through WhatsApp while the two were living apart.

Despite the shock,she accepted that the marriage had reached its end and focused on rebuilding her life.

She later moved back to her parents’ home, where she stayed for more than a year as she healed emotionally and adjusted to life after the separation.

Raburu later went public with his relationship with Ivy Namu and the two welcomed two children together after getting engaged.

However in recent weeks,Ivy confirmed that their relationship had also come to an end after nearly five years together.

Marya’s latest remarks have attracted widespread attention online,with many Kenyans discussing her emotional account and the challenges she faced during the collapse of her marriage.

Her story has sparked fresh conversations about divorce,healing after betrayal and the emotional impact of public relationships.
