The Kenyan Government has today broken silence with a powerful message to all Kenyans across the country who bought parcels of land.
Address via Lands Cabinet Secretary Alice Wahome on 29th June 2026, the Kenyan Government has made it a compulsory requirement for all Kenyans who acquired parcels of land through purchase method to provide a proof of payment or lose their respective titles deeds.
In addition, the Kenyan Government has underscored that all Kenyans who bought land will be required on a compulsory basis to provide a valid sale agreement with the individual or company which sold the parcel of land to them or lose their title deed.
The Kenyan Government has intimated that Kenyans who acquired parcels of land through fraudulent means with have their respective title deeds revoked in a strategic move fostered towards ensuring that land is acquired in a transparent manner.
The Kenyan Government has warned Kenyans across the country who hold title deeds that are irregular will be summoned by the state in in order to give a strategic explanation on the manner in wbich they acquired those title deeds.
