A corporate endorsement deal that Vanessa Mdee signed back in 2019 has not seen her earn the millions she expected.
In a Twitter rant about the state of musicians in Tanzania, Vanessa Mdee wrote that ‘Artists na watu maarufu Tanzania please don’t let these corporate companies take advantage of you. Mpaka leo lile benki halijamaliza kunilipa. Japo kiukweli ni benki bora but wameona wajikaushe. Yote kheri.’
She had signed to the banks ‘beunstopable’ campaign in 2019 in year long activation’s. She was the Bank’s Digital Banking Brand Ambassador.
