Friday, the 22nd of May, was indeed a special day for renowned Mugithi crooner Samuel Muchoki alias Samidoh.
This is because on the day, his long-term wife Edday Nderitu officially turned a year older; a milestone that confirmed that she had indeed opened a new chapter with regards to her life.
Like any other loving husband out there who is usually proud of his wife’s milestones, Samidoh was also proud of Edday Nderitu’s birthday and therefore he celebrated it in style.
The Mumbi hit maker actually took to his Facebook account and penned for his wife a heartwarming message, in which he pampered her with praises.
Samidoh also wished Edday Nderitu the very best with regards to her future.
“Happy Birthday to the woman who has held our family together with love, strength and grace. May God continue to bless you with happiness, good health and many more beautiful years ahead 💃 🎉🎂🎂” he said.
The post by Samidoh also elicited massive reactions from netizens, who joined him in celebrating Edday Nderitu’s birthday as shown in the screenshots below.
As Edday Nderitu turns a year older, it should be noted that she has been married to Samidoh for over 15 years.
The two, who met for the first time when they were still young, have however been blessed with three kids; two daughters and one son in that stint.
It should be noted however that Samidoh and Edday Nderitu’s marriage has not always been a bed of roses.
The marriage actually faced a huge challenge some few years ago after Samidoh decided to cheat on Edday Nderitu with Karen Nyamu, who is a Nominated Senator.
The Mugithi crooner not only dated the controversial politician, but he also went ahead and sired two kids with her.
Even though Edday Nderitu was deeply heartbroken by Samidoh’s decision to cheat on her, at first she still held on to their marriage as she was not ready to throw away all the years that they had been together.
After being disrespected for long however, Edday Nderitu reached a point where she decided that she could not tolerate it anymore and she called it quits with their marriage.
She then relocated to the USA with her kids in order to escape from the emotional toll and the constant online scrutiny that she was receiving amidst the drama.
As we speak, Edday Nderitu has been living in the USA for 5 years. She and Samidoh are however in good terms now because he always visits them there.
