Alego Usonga MP Sam Atandi opened up and disclosed his daily routine which involves his eating and sleeping routine.

Speaking during Obinna’s show, Sam Atandi revealed that his day normally begins at 5 am in the morning. His driver picks him up at his home and drops him at the gym for a work out session.

After the workout session Sam Atandi disclosed that he haves his breakfast which is normally four boiled eggs, black tea with no sugar and fruits.

He then leaves for work which involves in and out meetings. He haves his lunch and continues with work.

The Legislator disclosed that his day ends early and must always be home by six or seven in the evening since he has to have his dinner around that time.

After that, the MP retires to bed at 9PM. He said that he strictly observes his sleeping routine no matter where he is and is never available for any night meetings. He disclosed that he sleeps for eight hours and doesn’t drink alcohol.

About his choice of food, Sam Atandi said that he prefers more proteins. He disclosed that he doesn’t do food made from wheat such as Chapati, Mandazi or cakes. He also revealed that he brown ugali only twice a week. In summary Sam Atandi said that he majorly eats meat such as fish, beef and sometimes devours full chicken for lunch.

“Sometimes I eat full chicken at lunch without ugali, chicken with vegetables. Because you have to eat until you are full. You are not supposed to deny yourself. If it is nyama just eat that nyama until you are full. Like I eat a full chicken at lunch alone with mboga” Sam Atandi said.

Atandi stressed that being in the fitness regime requires discipline. He revealed that a number of Kenyan leaders suffer from blood pressure something he said can be prevented by changing lifestyle.
