Popular bilingual news reporter Winfrey Otieno has called it quits with KTN after working there for 5 years.
The talented journalist actually announced the news of her exit on Friday, the 15th of May, and this was via a post that she made on her Facebook account.
Winfrey Otieno could not hide how proud she was of her growth, with regards to her career while working at KTN.
This is because when she joined the station 5 years ago, she was just working as a digital reporter, but she was then promoted to be the digital sub-editor before finally being given the role of a news reporter.
Winfrey Otieno was also grateful to her bosses at Standard Group for giving her the opportunity to work at the station for those 5 years.
“To the management of The Standard Group, thank you for believing in me, investing in my growth and giving me the opportunity to be part of your legacy for the past half decade. My story will always carry a chapter written within those walls” she said.
The disclosure by Winfrey Otieno however elicited some reactions from netizens, who appreciated her for the good work that she had done at KTN.
