Nayianoi Ngeno, the widow of former Emurua Dikirr MP the late Johana Ngeno, cast her vote on Thursday at Mokondo polling station during the ongoing by-election.
Nayianoi arrived at the polling station in the morning and joined other residents taking part in the exercise. Polling officials supervised the process as voting continued in various stations across the constituency.
The by-election was called following the death of Johana Ngeno, who previously represented Emurua Dikirr in Parliament.
Security officers were deployed in the area as electoral officials oversaw the voting exercise. Residents turned up at different polling centres to elect a new constituency representative.
