Ugandan media personality Sheilah Gashumba has publicly praised her father’s new fiancée, Patience Mutoni Malaika, saying Frank Gashumba became less of a handful after falling for the Sembabule woman.

After the ceremony, Sheilah took to X to congratulate her father, wishing him the best in his new journey with Malaika. According to Pulse Uganda, she went further, telling fans that her father had stopped pestering her since Malaika entered his life, an indirect nod to the calming effect the relationship has had on the vocal social commentator.
In a separate post, Sheilah responded to Malaika’s heartfelt message by writing: “No wonder my father chose you, Malaika. As long as you are a happy bride, I am happy. Always count on me.”
Sheilah, described as Frank Gashumba’s only known biological child, also made her expectations clear, asking Patience to give her two siblings. (Pearltimes) When pressed online about calling Malaika “mum,” she firmly stated: “I will only call the woman who gave birth to me mum, so everyone must calm down.”
