Kirinyaga county Governor Honourable Ann Mumbi Waiguru, he has sent a bold message to opposition candidates who are eyeing for the Gubernatorial seat come the year 2027.
Waiguru has stated that her position will be occupied by a UDA candidate. And with rumours from the political corridors alleging that the Kirinyaga Women Representative Honourable Njeri Maina is yearning for the Kirinyaga Gubernatorial seat under Rigathi Gachagua’s DCP party.
She has been a close political confidant to President William Ruto for the longest period of time. And also played a key role in the politics of the larger Mount Kenya Region.
Waiguru has allegedly announced her interest to run for a Senatorial Seat under UDA party in Kirinyaga come the year 2027 polls.
The former Deputy President and the DCP party leader Honourable Rigathi Gachagua has been storming Ann Waiguru’s political yard. He has been on record saying that he has a say in Mount Kenya Region as well as Kirinyaga county.
