Suba North Member of Parliament Millie Odhiambo has shared her grief after receiving the sudden news of the death of one of her lecturers. The sad development came just before she was set to attend class, leaving her shocked and deeply affected. She described the moment as painful and a reminder of how unpredictable life can be.

 

In her message, Odhiambo revealed that she made a personal decision last year to return to school. She explained that the journey has been meaningful, allowing her to grow intellectually and connect with new people outside her political work. Despite her busy schedule, she has remained committed to her studies and has enjoyed the learning experience.

She spoke fondly about one of her favorite courses, Organizational Development, which she found both engaging and insightful. The class was taught by Dr. Yugi, whom she credited for making the lessons impactful. Odhiambo noted that she had even tried to attend a previous class while traveling, showing her dedication to learning.

 

The legislator said she had been looking forward to attending the latest session. However, her excitement quickly turned into sadness after learning about the lecturer’s passing. She expressed regret at losing the chance to continue learning from someone she greatly respected.
