DCP deputy party leader Cleophas Malala has questioned the burials of late former Prime Minister Raila Odinga and former Chief of Defence Forces, General Ogolla.
Speaking during an interview on Spice FM, Malala asked why the two leaders were laid to rest 72 hours after their death.
“General Ogolla died, and from nowhere, he said in his will, that we have not seen, that he should be buried within 72 hours, so that your story ends at that point,” Cleophas Malala said.
The renowned politician also questioned why Raila was laid to rest 72 hours after his death, saying that even the widow, Mama Ida, said that she never saw the will.
“Who is this that saw this will and said that Raila should be buried within 72 hours? Up to today, Raila was a public figure; we don’t know what killed him. We don’t know where Raila died from. We don’t know whether it’s India or Nairobi, and if it’s India, you cannot go and admit yourself to a hospital in India. You must be referred, so which hospital in Kenya referred Raila to India?” Malala asked.
He slammed President William Ruto for accusing Rigathi Gachagua of murder, wanting to know why the head of state picked Rigathi as his running mate, knowing that he is an alleged murderer.
