A woman battling cancer confessed her troubling times with her husband that left her stronger than ever.
She recounted her experience with him when in hospital with Cancer saying he refused to be by her side when she was admitted in hospital.

My husband left us when I was in the hospital fighting cancer. “This isn’t what I signed up for,” were his words. The kids heard him say that he wouldn’t raise them if I died. I thought when he left that I wouldn’t recover from it. I totally did. My life is much better now.
I lie here wide awake, and though it sucks that I’m alone, I’m so grateful. A roof over my head, a warm bed. There is love here. Peace and good health are something I will never take for granted.
She got alot of encouragement from people reading her story.
– Trauma can give you strength, if you allow it to, but it also changes you as a person. I find it hard to believe that one relationship for the rest of my life is going to cut it. We evolve as people & people will come go in our lives & that’s ok. Be true to yourself.

– My Dad was always by my mom’s side when she battled breast cancer for 15 years, 4 kids too. Yup it was a challenge but as a family we got through it.
