Pastor Victor Kanyari recently captured public attention after his daughter, Sky Victor, requested KSh 300,000 to decorate her room.
The preacher, known for his generous parenting, did not hesitate to entertain the request, sparking widespread discussion online.
Over the weekend, Kanyari spent quality time with his children at his Salvation Healing Ministries in Kayole Junction.
During the service, he introduced Sky and her brother, Danivictor, to the congregation, showing that they are coping well following the passing of their mother, gospel singer Betty Bayo, in November 2025.
After church, Kanyari took the children on a shopping spree, spending over KSh 200,000. Sky revealed the amount she wanted for her room makeover while holding a long receipt, saying, “For my room, I need KSh 300,000 to fully shop. Let me show you how I want it to look.”
In another video, Kanyari explained his approach to parenting. “Just this weekend, I spent about KSh 200,000; KSh 60,000 for a trip to Mombasa and KSh 110,000 on shopping for Sky’s room. Raising children is not easy; I will always give my kids what they want,” he said.
Netizens quickly reacted to the videos, with many expressing amazement at Kanyari’s willingness to lavishly spend on his children.
Some praised the father’s generosity, while others emphasized the importance of teaching responsibility alongside indulgence.
Emily Andrew commented, “The most expensive thing in the world is time. Money can come and go, but time spent with children is priceless.” Another user, Amoit Bee Sambasi, said, “Every parent should spoil their child as much as possible. Team Sky!”
The preacher also recently revealed that he is open to finding love in 2026, welcoming interested women to contact him via social media.
His remarks came weeks after he expressed that Betty Bayo was the only woman he had ever truly loved.
Pastor Kanyari’s parenting style continues to spark conversation online, highlighting both his devotion and willingness to provide for his children despite life’s challenges.
