Nairobi city county senator and ODM Secretary General Edwin Sifuna is married to Didi Wamukoya.
The couple officially married in 2015 after Sifuna payed dowry according to cultural tradition. They have one daughter together as of 2026.
Wamukoya is the daughter of Joseph Wamukoya, a former MP of Matungu constituency and assistant minister in the Moi government.
Sifuna’s wife Wamukoya is a highly educated woman. She holds a law degree and a degree in environmental studies from the University of Nairobi.
She was admitted to the Roll of Advocates (lawyer of the High Court of Kenya) in 2007.
She is an Environmental lawyer with a focus on wildlife and natural resources law.
She also Worked with the Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) where she trained as a wildlife crime investigator and was involved in prosecution related to wildlife offences.
Sifuna has described her as more educated and often the “final say” at home on many matters, something that surprised many.
The couple prefer to keep their personal life private, and she generally stays out of frequent public attention despite her professional roles and occasional public mentions by her husband.
