Cabinet Secretary Ali Hassan Joho surprised many Nairobi residents after he pulled over his vehicle along a busy city road and gave cash to a young car spotter who had noticed him passing by.
The incident happened in Nairobi during the day as traffic flowed normally. Joho was moving in his convoy when a car spotter, known for identifying high-end vehicles and public figures, excitedly reacted after recognizing the CS.
Instead of driving on, Joho instructed his driver to stop. This unexpected move immediately drew attention from pedestrians and other motorists who watched closely to see what was happening.
Joho stepped out briefly and interacted with the car spotter in a calm and friendly manner. He then handed him some cash before returning to his vehicle and continuing with his journey.
The moment was captured on camera and quickly spread across social media platforms. Many users praised the CS for taking time to acknowledge an ordinary citizen in the middle of a busy Nairobi street.
