Popular comedian and content creator Mulamwah (David Oyando) delivered a humorous and painfully relatable account of single life after finding himself unintentionally third-wheeling at a star-studded event.
The entertainer, who is currently single, attended the launch of Urban Wheels on Sunday, 23 November, and shared a series of photos capturing the awkward reality of being the only bachelor in a sea of couples — images that quickly went viral.
The Solo Standout
One of the photos showed Mulamwah seated at a table with well-known entertainment journalist Presenter Kai and his wife, Diana Yegon. The couple sat cozily side-by-side, while Mulamwah occupied the outer seat, smiling politely but clearly the odd one out.
He paired the image with a hopeful and slightly vulnerable caption:
“Sawa tu, aliye juu anaona… soon nitabarikiwa pia. Type ‘amen’ nitapata my wife pia.”
(It’s okay, the One above sees… soon I will also be blessed. Type ‘amen’ and I will get my wife too.)
The message struck a chord with fans, capturing both his good-natured humor and his quiet desire to settle down after his recent heartbreak.
Master of the Third Wheel
Mulamwah’s situation became even more comical in another photo featuring Director Trevor and his partner, Kikilove Yvonne. The couple, dressed in matching Arabic-inspired outfits, posed affectionately together — while Mulamwah, smartly dressed in a suit, stood to the side looking like the ultimate third wheel.
“Next time sikuji solo 🥺”
(Next time I won’t come solo.)
In another light-hearted jab, he joked:
“Nkt hata hawakai poa 😂😂”
(Nkt, they don’t even look that good 😂😂)
A classic Mulamwah-style way of coping with being unintentionally sidelined by lovebirds.
A Breakup Still Fresh
Fans were quick to connect the posts to Mulamwah’s recent breakup with Ruth K., a split that unfolded dramatically across social media around April 2025. The ex-couple traded accusations online, with their messy fallout dominating headlines for weeks.
Given this context, Mulamwah’s humour-filled posts from the Urban Wheels event reflect more than comic relief — they offer a glimpse into a man easing himself back into public social life after a very public and painful breakup.
And if his viral captions are anything to go by, Mulamwah hasn’t lost his charm, wit, or optimism — even as he navigates the world solo once again.
