Former Machakos County First Lady Lillian Ng’ang’a has announced that she is officially back on the job market — ideally seeking remote or hybrid work — as her son Utheri, whom she shares with rapper Juliani, prepares to start school next year.
In a series of Instagram Stories posted on November 22, 2025, the 39-year-old project manager and fitness enthusiast said that parenting has been her primary focus in recent years. With Utheri joining school in 2026, she now has the flexibility to resume full-time professional engagements.
“I have been hesitant to say this out loud,” she admitted, noting she struggled with whether to make her job search public. She anticipated that some might misinterpret her announcement because of her former high-profile role.
“Some will immediately link it to my past life as First Lady or think I’m broke,” she said, adding that she expects headlines like “From First Lady to Struggling” or “Lillian Ng’ang’a Begging for Jobs.”
Lillian clarified that her decision is driven by practicality, not financial strain — her son’s transition to school simply opens room for her to re-enter structured work.
