This afternoon, a very sad report has emerged stating that two kenyan police officers have been killed by the Al- Shabab. According to the source, these police officers were traveling on their vehicle, when they got blown up by an improvised bomb.
As a result of this explosion, two police officers have lost their lives, and five others seriously injured. This sad incident has happened at a place called Kulun, near Daadab.
The injured police officers have already been taken to the hospital for medical check up and treatment so as to save their lives. The two bodies have also been catered for, as more investigations get carried out by the police.
Surprisingly, North Eastern leaders are supporting the reopening of the Kenya- Somalia boarders, without considering such attacks. It’s sad that we have lost two police officers today, to these Al- Shabab militia.
Let’s all hope that the government will respond to this attack and send the army, to combat and eliminate these Al- Shabab militia. It’s sad that the people of Garisa and Wajir live in fear if being attacked by the same men, despite being kenyans too, who should be protected.
