A Nairobi-born father, George Yonge, has tragically passed away in the United States, leaving behind his grieving wife and their infant daughter. The 35-year-old, who had lived in the US for over 15 years, reportedly began experiencing persistent headaches earlier in the week before collapsing at home. He was placed on life support but, sadly, never regained consciousness.

Family friend Imo Imonje revealed that George had felt unwell after returning home from work. What initially seemed like a minor health issue quickly escalated into a life-threatening emergency. His sudden death has left a void for his wife, Sharon Miranda, and their daughter, Maggie, who is due to celebrate her first birthday next month.

Sharon took to Facebook to express her heartbreak, remembering George as not just a husband but a true partner and best friend. “My heart aches in ways I never knew were possible. Nothing could have prepared me for the pain of these past few days,” she wrote. She described George as a devoted father whose bond with Maggie brought joy and laughter into their home.

As the family navigates this devastating loss, a GoFundMe page has been created to support funeral arrangements. Friends and relatives have shared messages of condolence and comfort, hoping to provide some strength to Sharon and Maggie during this unimaginably difficult time.

George Yonge’s passing serves as a somber reminder of the fragility of life. Those who knew him recall his warmth, dedication, and the love he poured into his family. Though his life was cut short, his memory will live on in the smiles and stories of his young daughter and the hearts of those who loved him.
