Singer Willy Paul has boldly claimed he is the most recognised Kenyan artist internationally, asserting that no local musician gets as much airplay outside the country as he does. The outspoken artist, popularly known as Pozze, said despite being overlooked at home, his music continues to make waves abroad.
In a social media post on Monday, October 27, 2025, Willy Paul thanked those who acknowledged his success, insisting the numbers speak for themselves. He accused some industry players of refusing to give him credit because he doesn’t “kiss a****” to gain favour. “Thank you for the recognition. But because I don’t kiss a****, they don’t give me my flowers, and it’s okay. I still won’t kiss no a****,” he wrote.
The musician, who has been in the scene for over a decade, credited his consistency and international recognition for setting him apart. He stated that no matter how much others are promoted locally, he remains the most played Kenyan artist abroad. Willy Paul vowed to continue producing music that represents Kenya globally.
