Media personality and former Machakos First Lady Lilian Nganga is mourning the death of her beloved grandfather.
She shared a touching message on social media, saying he was a kind and loving man who made her childhood special.
Lilian said that even though he was not their biological grandfather, he loved her and her sisters deeply and treated them as his own grandchildren.
She remembered spending many happy days with him roasting maize, baking potatoes in ash, picking fruits, and watching him milk cows.
According to Lilian, her grandfather was 85 years old and had been sick for only five months before he passed away.
She said God gave him good health all his life and that his love for family was strong and genuine.
Lilian described him as a man who never changed, always wearing his hat, gumboots, and his warm smile whenever they visited him.
She and her family buried him on Thursday, October 23, at their rural home, surrounded by relatives and friends.
Fans and friends comforted Lilian with kind messages, sending prayers and love to her family as they mourn their loss.
