Residents of Mutyambua town in Mbitini Ward, Nzaui Sub County, Makueni, are in shock after a female school principal was brutally murdered in her own home as her family watched helplessly.
According to reports, the attack happened on Saturday morning when armed assailants stormed the home where the principal was with her husband and three children.She was attacked and killed in front of them, leaving the community shaken and terrified.
Mutyambua Sub-Chief Justus Kiluva confirmed the incident, describing it as a tragic and painful loss that has left the residents in fear.
The motive behind the killing remains unclear, raising deep concern among locals who are now demanding swift action from authorities.
Police officers from Emali Police Station visited the scene, documented the crime, and transferred the body to Kilome Nursing Home Mortuary for a postmortem examination.The principal’s husband, who was present during the attack, has since been arrested to assist detectives with investigations.
The residents of Mbitini Ward are calling on security agencies to track down the perpetrators and ensure justice is delivered for the slain principal.
Many have described her as a hard-working woman dedicated to her profession and community.
