Comedian Jacky Vike, nicknamed Awinja, prompted new curiosity after posing for sensual images with fellow comic Khoja Afrique.
One startling photo showed Khoja clutching Awinja by the neck and staring into each other’s eyes, a near-kiss moment.
The photographs drove social media into a frenzy, with admirers torn between amusement, outrage, and conjecture about the chemistry.
Before the suggestive images, the two performed a humorous play about love in the countryside. The video shows Khoja visiting a posho mill where Awinja works.
She aggressively instructed him to either put the corn in the mill or go. “That is not the way to speak to the customer,” Khoja stated.
When the mill started, Khoja slapped the metal sides to remove any remaining flour. She protested the relocation, resulting in a back-and-forth.
“I will ban your family from milling here, and you will die of hunger,” she predicted. As Khoja prepared to go, she called him back, and they began courting each other.
Khoja sent Awinja a series of photos, sarcastically inviting her to become his fifth wife. “Don’t miss our wedding on Saturday,” he said with another image.
Khoja teased Dem Wa on Facebook, warning her not to call him at night because it might jeopardize his marriage to Awinja.
However, the most contentious image depicted Khoja clutching Awinja by the neck. They peered into each other’s eyes, their lips nearly touching.
Awinja smiled briefly as she looked up at Khoja. “Am I confusing you?” he inquired. Eunice Keter, a Facebook influencer, shared the image, noting that dating an artist was not easy.
