A young woman has left social media in stitches after narrating how she once faked being demon-possessed just to get her pastor off her back during a church service. The story, which she shared in a viral TikTok video, has sparked both laughter and debate about some of the dramatic “deliverance” practices common in churches.
According to the TikToker, she was a teenager when the incident occurred. Her mother, being deeply religious, would take her to church every Sunday. On this particular day, the pastor suddenly called her to the front, insisting he needed to pray for her. Things quickly escalated when he claimed she was possessed by an evil spirit.
“I tried to tell them to stop, but no one was listening. The pastor kept saying it wasn’t me speaking, but a demon inside me. Even my mom believed it,” she recounted.
