Retired President Uhuru Kenyatta and his wife, Margaret Kenyatta, made a stylish public appearance, stepping out in matching hats during a visit to the ongoing construction of the Stella Maris Pastoral Center in Watamu, Kilifi County.Uhuru was sporting a light-colored fedora-style hat and a vibrant blue shirt with green leaf patterns.

While his wife Margaret Kenyatta stands elegantly in the center, wearing a wide-brimmed straw hat that perfectly complements her light green tunic adorned with beautiful floral designs.

The couple was warmly received by Bishop Rev. Willybard Lagho of Catholic Church Malindi Diocese, who briefed them on the progress of the project.

During the visit, the Kenyattas contributed Sh1.5 million toward the development of the pastoral center, showing their commitment to supporting initiatives that foster community growth and spiritual development.

The funds are set to aid the construction of key facilities designed to serve as a hub for pastoral, educational, youth-oriented activities in the region.

The Stella Maris Pastoral Center is being built to enhance community engagement, spiritual growth, and social development in Kilifi County.
